HELLO BRIGHTNESS,
How have you been? I know….it’s the end of the year and everyone has been up to a lot!
It’s natural that end of the year is the most time people put pressure on themselves , making sure that all the resolutions for the new year are followed, meet up with deadlines, and catching up with the prophecies of the year ( will come back to that) but I’m here to tell you whether or not all of your expectations are met, you should be proud of how far you’ve come!
Every year like most other churches we have a prophetic declaration for the year, and as children of God we know the place of prophecies and how if you believe they would surely come to pass, the truth is God’s ways are higher than our ways, and we all have a personal imaginations of how we want some things to work out in our lives which is mostly time considered, and when those things don’t come to play it seems as if God has forgotten us (I’m sure that I’m not the only one on this table).
I remember a while ago, when the Holy Spirit explained the meaning of the verse that says:
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” Ephesians 3:20
He told me exceedingly and abundantly does not mean double or triple of what you are expecting, it means: ” I will do the best for you that you could never have thought of for you ‘cos your mind is limited” and trust He does!
Looking back at all the promises God has spoken to me since the year began, I was amazed how much God has done for me this year, if I wasn’t writing down the promises of God, I probably would have overlooked them still thinking God has not done anything, I took my notes and was wowed to see how God has been doing His wonders in ways I never could have thought of, the interesting part is that He NEVER followed my “human limited timeline” but when He eventually fulfilled them, it couldn’t have been a better time……God’s time is the right time! God’s time is the best time!!
I remember how the Holy Spirit impressed the word “PROCESS” in my heart, just because you have not gotten the PRODUCT does not mean you should overlook the PROCESS, if you prayed for a job this year and all you got are interviews, thank God you could even be qualified enough to get an interview request (many are wishing they got called for an interview even once after thousands of applications), if you wanted to get married this year but no engagement yet, thank God you are still marriageable, there’s always a reason to be thankful…..remember the key word is process, the product will come and you will love it!
My point is, get back on those promises of God since the year started and you will be surprised how far God has gone in fulfilling them.
STAY SHINY,
Oyinkan_Godstreasure😘
