Translating a dream into reality involves setting realistic goals that need to be achieved one after the other. I am passionate about making a difference in the health world, and this showcased itself in the way I pursued my Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

My experience working at the hospital and exposure to several publications related to the importance of information technology in promoting health care services made me discover there’s an increasing demand for 

My interest began as an undergraduate when I took a course in medical informatics, it’s a combination of computer and information science in health care and biomedicine. I performed excellently in the course. 

With respect to my future goals, I plan to apply my knowledge in genomics generated by the biomedical database to create researches to help health organizations detect people who might be genetically predisposed to certain diseases and reduce the risk of developing symptomatic diseases through various interventions. I really look forward to using genomic data in advancing health services.
